This picture was taken a few years back, and I decided to give a different retouch to it. New technics,  different view of the process. I got inspired by Julia Kuzmenko, the amazing photographer.

Beautiful evening for fireworks in Chicago. Settings, for this ones 5 sec, f/11, ISO 400 and some LR and PS processing.

Merged both pictures to replace the grey sky in the background. The process is to open both picture as layers in Photoshop. Then use the blending mode that better serve you for best to fix the picture. A mask will be needed to erase places where the clouds are not needed. After merge both layers, and "Voila" this is the final result.

City - Long Exposure View

Chicago skyline view from Lake Michigan. Settings: 340 sec f/22 ISO 200 28mm. It was a sunny day with some beautiful clouds. So I decide to take a long exposure to capture the city and the motion in the sky and lake.

I see no reason to ever move.

This is a beautiful house in Bloomngton, IN, the architect is Marc Cornett and the owner is Marissa Moorman. It is an amazing house and also a piece of art, had the opportunity to be inside and I was wowed. For more information in the house click here. The setting got this picture. (1/8000, 1/4000, 1/1600, 1/800, 1/400, 1/200, 1/100)  5 frames, f/4.0 ISO 200 24mm. It was processed in Lightroom, Photoshop, and Photomatix. If you want to see the full size picture click here.
