I take pictures as much as I can to improve my photographic skills and preserve the beauty of places, and people around me. You've got many other beautiful photos on here, but I wanted to comment on this one. With many of the other photos, it's easy to see why they work. This one is just as good, but since it's "about nothing" it's a bit more of a surprise. One mark of good photographers is that they can take something like this--wood, water, angles, light and not much else--and make it beautiful.
